One of the most enduring signs of the continuity of faith in the parish community is the contribution of the altar servers to the Church services and ceremonies. Through the generations families have had members performing this service. Children are prepared in year six. The usual means of recruitment is through St Oliver Plunkett's School. Children who attend other schools should enquire from Father Toner or any member of the parish pastoral council.
